Just to test some brushes... my tablet still hates Photoshop (or the other way around), but I found this pencil brush that looks... just.. like a pencil (on the right). Yay <3

Coloring process of this. Coloring is so funnnn ^^ A year and so ago, before I got SAI, I was in a coloring art block. I wanna use Painter again one of these days though. Photoshop just can't seem to work well with my tablet though ;_;

Fake Sailor Saturn from the Past

LOLOL wait there's an explanation.
In 1997 I only had access to Sailor Moon through a  pseudo-comic made with screenshots from the show that they used to sell in my town! I had only a few of them, up till the part where Serena has Mars and Mercury with her - so I hadn't met any other Sailors at that point! And yes I was a big fan :) It was awesome. Watching it on tv was way better though, lol. I was 12, I think.

Então, eu criei essa Sailor em 97, quando só via Sailor Moon nums quadrinhos que eram vendidos lá na roça (jk) onde eu morava ahuuehaueh, eram feitos com screenshots do anime! Eu tinha até a parte que a Marte e a Mercúrio apareciam (mas faltando alguns episódios, tipo o qual a Marte apareceu pela primeira vez). Eu ainda não tinha conhecido as outras Sailors ahuehaueh por isso coloquei o nome dela de Saturn (acho que tbm porque eu tinha aquele video game Sega Saturn aheuha). Eu tava com uns 12 anos.

I downloaded a pdf of Bammes' anatomy book but ehhr I'm lost, dunno where to start or how. And pdf is super slow on my pc o_O' Bleh.

Preciso de mais disciplina, to lerda demais >_> Pelo menos não tá tão difícil quanto a pintura da Shep.

Still pretty weird but working on face proportions. Her cheeks are bothering me. However I've discovered you can't just change the eye size without changing the whole face in proportion, it'll look horrible.

Sorry guys, no english, I'm super sleepy under the effect of Rivotril so it was hard already to write all that below x.x
But finally a drawing I'm fairly happy with. Colors soon (nah, probably not).

A paciência até que valeu. Algo (meio) simples que tem alguma noção do que fazer e não está segurando um nada nas mãos em poses estranhas.

É facil desenhar sobre meus temas favoritos- simbolismos extremamente pessoais e universais, coisas espirituais e abstratas, coisas que me fascinam, coisas que acho belas e que me fazem obcecar e viajar e colocar tudo junto! É maravilhoso fazer isso sem pensar muito, essas coisas todas fluem naturalmente.

Mas quando se vai fazer um desenho com o propósito de divulgação e não apenas um projeto pessoal, as pessoas podem estranhar e não gostar de tanta coisa surreal numa imagem só -principalmente quando essas pessoas estão acostumadas a imagens de posteres de Naruto e Bleach e uniformes japoneses e shoujos e e shounens com poses de ação aleatórias. E agradar as massas as vezes é necessário se deseja entrar no "ramo da profissão desenho".
Mas minha dificuldade pra fazer essas coisas é um esforço sobre-humano. Não rola. Se eu tivesse sendo bem paga, talvez rolasse.

Enfim. Consegui fazer algo que me interessa e parece simples e bonitinho o suficiente pra talvez ser aceitável a essas massas (talvez). Provavelmente essa moça virá a ser personagem de uma história que junta esses simbolismos que gosto tanto :) Assim como outras das sketches passadas.

Thing is, I'm finding it even more difficult to draw a random character instead of my own OCs.
